amixon® has innovative precision measuring systems for quality assurance

 

Tactile coordinate metrology with an articulated-arm measuring system enables highly accurate measurement. Geometric contours as well as dimensional and form deviations are measured with an uncertainty in the sub-10-micrometre range.

This micrometer-precise measuring technology is indispensable, particularly when testing fit dimensions and form and position tolerances, in order to ensure compliance with specified tolerance fields according to DIN ISO 2768-1.

The service life and functional capability of highly stressed components depends to a large extent on the fitting accuracy and dimensional accuracy of the individual machine elements. This applies in particular to bearing seats, gear couplings, sealing systems and plain bearing bushes. The micro-geometry is also crucial for tribologically stressed sliding surfaces. The service life of ‘DrySeal’ dry-running shaft seals depends to a large extent on the manufacturing accuracy.

In addition, we measure the surface roughness (Rz, Ra) with supplementary measuring systems.

Optical scanning systems are particularly advantageous when large components or complete machines are involved. amixon® has both optical scanning systems and tactile coordinate measuring systems.

In particular, we can use optical scanning systems to completely scan large, complex machines. The generated 3D scan is then digitally superimposed on the CAD model. This way, even the smallest dimensional deviations are detected. The dimensional deviations are systematically recorded, evaluated and documented in tabular form in an automated measurement report.
